Rorick's POAs started in 1982. Although we have shown off & on over the years most of our POAs are sold as weanlings or yearlings to start a show career with a family.

The POAs we have bred have won countless State, Regional, & World classes. However we place the most emphasis on the International Show. This show is the biggest & most prestigious POA show every year. The International Show started in 1959. From 1959 till now, around 700 people have bred a POA that has won at least one International Show Class.

We are proud of the fact that POAs bred by Rorick's have won 77 International Show classes. This ranks us 7 th on the all time Leading Breeders list. We are Minnesota 's Leading breeder, 40 wins higher than the second leading breeder in the state.

We have also bred for many POAs that sired or produced International Show Champions. Kid O Tough is a 1986 colt bred by us. His foals have won 98 International Show classes. Currently Kid O Tough is ranked 2nd on the all time Leading Sires list. There have been over 700 stallions sire POA International Show winners.

We are proud of the mare band we have assembled. You can see a write up & pictures of most of our mares on the Mare page. Direct evidence of a successful mare band is how well the foals sell.
